Hello my name is Anna,

I love Pilates and the way it makes me feel.  I love teaching and helping people even more.  I have a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the benefits of Pilates with my clients and seeing them progress. 

I trained and qualified in Mat Pilates with Balanced Body and Reformer Pilates with Polestar (the largest Pilates organisations in the world).  I regularly attend workshops to keep my teaching fresh and varied.

I was introduced to Pilates by a physiotherapist after having a knee and hip injury.  After experiencing the benefits first hand not just to the injury, but also for posture, strength and alignment I was hooked and went on to train.  I truly believe it is an intelligent way to exercise which can benefit everyone. I can honestly say that I have never felt as strong and confident as do now as woman in my 40s.

Pilates is a highly versatile technique that has wonderful benefits for everybody whatever their physical abilities or their goals may be. It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Pilates builds strength without excess bulk, capable of creating a sleek and toned body. 

I teach both group Mat Pilates and Private Mat & Reformer classes from the tranquility of my garden studio. Larger group classes are held at Holly Lodge Community Centre or in the summer months from the beautiful gardens at the top of Holly Lodge Estate.
